pecialty:  The processes that shape and maintain plant species diversity at the landscape scale, where small-scale forces such as competition and facilitation interact with large-scale forces such as niche evolution and dispersal. Much of our recent work focuses on the impacts of climatic drying on grassland community diversity.


Susan is a signatory of the Tyndall Petition, a statement backed by climate experts acknowledging the significant risks of climate change and the urgent need for emission reductions.
